UK’s 2025 SEC baseball schedule includes both CWS finalists and both league newcomers

Eight of Kentucky’s 10 Southeastern Conference baseball series in 2025 will be against opponents who played in last season’s NCAA Tournament, including two who joined the Wildcats in the 2024 College World Series.

UK announced its 2025 SEC baseball schedule Thursday, a slate that includes home series against Auburn, Ole Miss, Texas, South Carolina and Oklahoma. The Cats will travel to Georgia, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Mississippi State and Vanderbilt.

Of the teams coming to Lexington, SEC newcomers Texas and Oklahoma both made the postseason in 2024, as did South Carolina.

Tennessee beat Texas A&M in the best-of-three championship series to win the NCAA title. Georgia, Mississippi State and Vandy also played in the NCAA Tournament.

Kentucky’s 2025 schedule does not include 2024 College World Series participant Florida nor NCAA qualifiers Alabama, Arkansas and LSU. Missouri is also not on UK’s slate.

Kentucky tied Tennessee for the best regular season record in the SEC at 22-8 last season and finished 46-15-1 overall, then won an NCAA Tournament regional and super regional to reach its first College World Series ever.
