See what’s different about Kentucky’s new basketball uniforms
The University of Kentucky men’s basketball team will wear new uniforms to start the 2016-17 season.
The UK equipment staff posted a photo of the home uniform on its Twitter account on Wednesday morning.
The most noticeable change is that the blue checkboard pattern previously reserved as accent for UK’s shorts has been added to the jersey as well.
Also, the checkboard pattern on the sides of the shorts has been extended to the entire length of the shorts. The UK logo that previously appeared above the checkerboard on both sides of the shorts has been moved to the front of the left leg.
The Wildcats begin activities for the upcoming season on Oct. 14 with Big Blue Madness in Rupp Arena. The regular-season opener is Nov. 11 at home against Stephen F. Austin.
