Kentucky basketball team produces four different preseason posters

The University of Kentucky unveiled 2016-17 schedule posters for its men’s and women’s basketball teams Monday.

The posters will be distributed at Big Blue Madness on Friday in Rupp Arena and beginning Saturday morning at Kroger locations throughout Kentucky.

The men’s team produced four double-sided posters. Three of the posters feature two UK players on the front and two on the back with the schedule between the photos. The fourth poster has John Calipari and Adolph Rupp on one side and seniors Dominique Hawkins and Derek Willis on the other.

The women’s basketball poster features 10 members of this year’s team — with seniors Makayla Epps and Evelyn Akhator front and center. Below Epps and Akhator and above the team’s schedule is the season’s theme: ONE.

Fans attending Big Blue Madness at 7 p.m. on Friday will be the first to receive the poster. Each fan will have one version of the men’s poster placed in his/her seat at Rupp Arena and one women’s poster.

The posters will then be available for free in more than 100 Kroger stores, including every Kentucky location.

Big Blue Madness will feature introductions of both the men’s and women’s basketball teams, practice drills, videos and more. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
