Watch Kentucky’s Fox take to the streets of New York

Former University of Kentucky point guard De’Aaron Fox is in New York City this week preparing for Thursday night’s NBA Draft.

Fox and fellow freshmen Malik Monk and Bam Adebayo were among the players invited to media appearances in the Big Apple on Wednesday and for the draft the following night in Brooklyn.

Fox has proved to be a pre-draft media darling, appearing on ESPN’s “Mike and Mike” radio show, appearing in a documentary produced by Slam Magazine and serving as the subject of a Bleacher Report feature titled “The Making of a Superstar.”

The Bleacher Report article included a video in which Fox took to the streets of New York, inviting all comers — including Sesame Street’s Cookie Monster — to attempt to score on him on the sidewalk.
