UK basketball donates $150,000 for hurricane relief

A $150,000 donation to help hurricane relief in Texas was part of Kentucky basketball's charity fundraiser Friday night.

UK Coach John Calipari announced the donation between games featuring former Kentucky players.

The event raised more than $1 million for various charities, Calipari said.

A crowd of about 10,000 attended the event in Rupp Arena.
