Kentucky grad made a half-court shot for $10,000. His reaction was priceless.

A fan at Saturday’s University of Kentucky men’s basketball game against Auburn is $10,000 richer today.

The fan, Nick Hostetter, took part in a contest sponsored by Central Bank that Kentucky hosts at every home game in which $10,000 is awarded for a made basket from half court.

The fan gets three tries. Hostetter, a 2019 UK graduate from Lexington, made it on his first.

After hitting the shot, Hostetter ran around the court in disbelief and jubilation.

Kentucky trailed Auburn 20-11 before the fan made the shot, which sent the sellout Rupp crowd into a frenzy. The Wildcats then went on a 12-3 run to take the lead.
