John Calipari teased the imminent release of new uniforms for the University of Kentucky men’s basketball team Monday night. On Tuesday, the Wildcats’ new digs were unveiled.

The UK basketball account tweeted a video featuring the team’s home white jerseys for the 2022-23 season, and Calipari later tweeted a few photos for a more clear look. The controversial checkerboard pattern is gone from the Kentucky uniforms — after first being introduced in 2008 — and the new look features a clean white uniform with blue trim on the jersey and shorts, as well as a gold band on the back of the jersey and a blue Wildcat logo on the belt line of the shorts.
