Still unsure where to watch Kentucky’s first round NCAA Tournament game against Troy? UK’s official NIL fund has an option.
Club Blue will host a watch party for Friday’s game at the Main Event off Canary Road near Nicholasville Road. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and people are encouraged to register in advance because a sellout is anticipated.
Club Blue members and non-members are welcome to the family-friendly event. Members will receive game vouchers and two drink tickets to use at the Club Blue beer cart.
Third-seeded Kentucky will tip off against 14-seeded Troy in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at 7:10 p.m. Friday. The game will be held at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee and can be watched on CBS.
Other Lexington bars hosting watch parties
There are several other places in Lexington where people can watch the game with fellow fans.
Tin Roof Lexington is hosting a watch party at their restaurant on S. Limestone. There will be live music and drink specials along with the game.
District 7 Social, a game and social bar located in the distillery district, is hosting a watch party. There will be a self-serve beer wall, game day pub food massive screens and surround sound for the game.
“Bring your crew, wear your blue, and let’s watch the Cats dominate,” District 7 Social said in an Instagram post.
Golden Flame Hot Wings off Rojay Drive is hosting a watch party and offering a 10% discount for people wearing Kentucky gear. The restaurant will also offer drink specials, including $3 select Country Boy Brewing beers.
Log Still Distillery in Nelson County is hosting a watch party at The Legacy. The distillery will serve a fish fry and offer $5 beers, $20 buckets and $8 cocktails.
Cocktails Bar & Grill off Old Todds Road will host a watch party. The restaurant will also be offering $12 game-day beer buckets.
