Vote: Where do you stand on Kentucky-Louisville basketball moving to November?

The annual Cats-Cards clash between the Kentucky and Louisville men’s basketball teams will take place earlier in the schedule than ever in 2025-26.

The archrivals will collide Nov. 11 at the KFC Yum Center in Louisville, almost three weeks before the schools’ annual grudge match on the football field, which will take place Nov. 29, also in the Derby City.

Seemingly everything about college sports has changed in recent years but one constant has been that the Cats and Cards meet on the basketball court in December. That’s just the way it is.

I mean, what are we going to talk about at holiday parties this year? Once the small talk moved past the weather, Christmas gifts and which bourbon we’re drinking, there was always Cats-Cards.

Tell us what you think about this groundbreaking schedule change in our poll below.
