Though the football teams won’t meet for almost three weeks, the Kentucky and Louisville men’s basketball teams will renew their rivalry tonight at the KFC Yum Center.

It’s atypically early for the Wildcats and Cardinals, but that doesn’t figure to impact the intensity of a game that features two of the top teams in college basketball. Kentucky was ranked No. 9 in Monday’s first regular-season Associated Press Top 25; Louisville was No. 12.
