Kentucky basketball at LSU: Get live updates, stats from matchup in Baton Rouge
Was last Saturday’s win against Mississippi State a turning point for the Kentucky men’s basketball team? Or did the Wildcats merely mash an overmatched team?
The Cats have the chance to provide some context Wednesday night, when they take on LSU in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Kentucky (10-6, 1-2 SEC) will look to continue the offensive progress it showed against Mississippi State even without point guard Jaland Lowe, who reinjured his right shoulder in the first half and has been ruled out for the remainder of the season.
UK will also be without center Jayden Quaintance at LSU (12-4, 0-3). The center was listed as out for the game on the mandatory injury report UK filed Tuesday.
You can follow Wednesday’s game with Herald-Leader staffers in the chat below, which also features real-time stats and play-by-play. Staff writer Cameron Drummond will be on hand at the Maravich Assembly Center, and men’s basketball beat writer Ben Roberts and columnist Mark Story will participate from home.
The game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. ET tip and will air on SEC Network.
