UK's Meeks named SEC Player of the Week

Kentucky's Jodie Meeks has been named the Southeastern Conference Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.

Meeks averaged 28.5 points a game in UK's two victories in the Las Vegas Invitational on Friday and Saturday. The 6-foot-4 junior guard from Norcross, Ga., is averaging 25.5 points and 4.8 rebounds through his team's first six games.
