Five-star post player Edrice “Bam” Adebayo will announce his college decision Tuesday at 9:30 a.m., on the Mike & Mike Show on ESPNews and ESPNRadio.

Adebayo — a 6-foot-9, 250-pound prospect from Washington, N.C. — is going into his senior season at High Point Christian Academy and is considered one of the best big men in the class of 2016.

He averaged 32.2 points, 21.0 rebounds and 4.5 blocked shots per game for Northside High (N.C.) last season, earning first-team All-America honors from MaxPreps.com. Rivals.com and ESPN both consider him to be a top-10 recruit in the 2016 class.

North Carolina State has long been considered the favorite for Adebayo, but he took an official visit to Lexington last month and UK is looking like a legitimate landing spot on the eve of his announcement.

The Cats already have commitments from five-star prospects De’Aaron Fox, Wenyen Gabriel and Sacha Killeya-Jones for the class of 2016. John Calipari has been looking to add one more post player to the class, and Adebayo is the highest-ranked forward still on UK’s recruiting radar.
