The University of Kentucky held its ground at No. 20 in this week’s Associated Press men’s college basketball poll.

The Wildcats manhandled Missouri 88-54 last Wednesday, then fell 90-84 in overtime at then-No. 4 Kansas on Saturday night but did not move in the voting.

Kentucky (16-5 overall, 6-2 Southeastern Conference) visits Tennessee on Tuesday and hosts Florida on Saturday in the week ahead.

Louisville, which won 91-83 at Virginia Tech on Wednesday then lost 63-47 at home to then-No. 11 Virginia on Saturday, tumbled three spots to No. 19 in this week’s poll.

The Cardinals (17-4 overall, 6-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) host No. 2 North Carolina (19-2, 8-0) in a battle of the top two teams in the ACC on Monday night at the KFC Yum Center.
