Four Kentucky signees named Naismith All-Americans
Four University of Kentucky men's basketball signees were honored as Naismith All-American selectionsTuesday, including five-star point guard De’Aaron Fox, who was named a first-team player.
Edrice “Bam” Adebayo and Malik Monk are second-team All-Americans, and Wenyen Gabriel was named to the third team.
Fox is also a finalist for the Naismith player of the year award, which will be announced Thursday. The other finalists for that honor are Fox’s fellow first-team selections Lonzo Ball (UCLA), Miles Bridges (Michigan State), Jayson Tatum (Duke) and Josh Jackson, who has narrowed his school list to Arizona, Kansas and Michigan State.
