Registration open for Calipari’s UK Pro Camp

Former University of Kentucky basketball players Skal Labissiere, Jamal Murray, Alex Poythress and Tyler Ulis will be the featured pros at the 2016 John Calipari UK Pro Camp, which will be held Aug. 1-2 in the Memorial Coliseum/Joe Craft Center complex on UK’s campus. Various other UK pros could be added in the future.

Registration is now open for the camp, which will be split into two separate sessions.

The cost for each camp is $199 per camper and includes a camp T-shirt, two days of instruction, competitions, autograph session and camp team photo with the featured Wildcat pros.

The camp is open to both boys and girls entering grades kindergarten through 12. A camper's grade level is based on the grade in which the camper will enroll in during the 2016-17 school year.

A limited number of spots are available and are first-come, first-served, with online registration recommended as the fastest and most efficient.

Pro Camp 1 takes place from 8:30 a.m. till noon on Aug. 1-2. Check-in is Aug. 1 from 7 to 8:15 a.m.

Pro Camp 2 runs from 2 to 5:30 p.m. each day. Check-in is from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. on Aug. 1.

All pre-registered campers will receive a confirmation email that includes details of necessary paperwork needed (physical, insurance and consent). To ensure the safety and participation of all campers, it is important that the basketball office receives all necessary paperwork two weeks before the camp.

Walk-up registration will not be available unless otherwise noted on the UK Athletics website.
