Former University of Kentucky guard Devin Booker received some unsolicited praise from basketball’s biggest star on Wednesday.

LeBron James, MVP of the 2016 NBA Finals after leading the Cleveland Cavaliers to the franchise’s first championship, gave the Phoenix Suns guard his stamp of approval.

Appearing on the “Open Run” podcast, which is operated by James’ company, the NBA superstar was asked who he thought was the most promising young gun in the league.

“That no one knows about? You know what? I’m going to be honest,” James answered. “If it’s someone who is under the radar right now that I believe is going to be a really, really, really good, all-star player in the league — it’s Devin Booker from the Phoenix Suns.”

Booker, who played one season at Kentucky in 2014-15, averaged 13.8 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists as a rookie shooting guard with the Suns in 2015-16.
