The game is scheduled to tip off at 7 p.m.

Kentucky (6-2) is led in scoring by seniors Makayla Epps (19.4 points per game) and Evelyn Akhator (15.0). Sophomore guards Taylor Murray (11.9) and Maci Morris (11.8) also score in double figures. Akhator leads the Cats in rebounds (10.1) and Epps is tops in assists (5.3).

Senior guard Ty Petty is Middle Tennessee’s leading scorer at 14.8 points per game. Sophomore forward Alex Johnson (13.0) and junior guard Abbey Sissom (10.2) also score in double figures. Middle Tennessee opened the season with losses to Virginia (63-51) and Louisville (91-72) but has since won two of three, defeating Tennessee Tech (73-62) and Tulane (62-59) with a loss to Ohio (73-52) in between.

Middle Tennessee State and Kentucky are meeting for the 19th time in women’s basketball. Kentucky leads the series 14-4 and has won four in a row against the Blue Raiders, including a 68-52 win last season in Murfreesboro.
