There’s a chance another player could be wearing a jersey with Kentucky on the front and Gabriel on the back in the near future.

“Congrats on getting that UK offer today!!!” the older Gabriel tweeted to Piath, a 6-foot-5 forward in the class of 2020.

ESPN has Piath Gabriel rated as the No. 16 player at her position and a top-60 player nationally.
“Versatile front court prospect brings mobility, shot blocking presence to the key,” one of the ESPN evaluations said from the Adidas Nationals in July. “Emerging offensive threat on the perimeter complemented by back-to-basket game potential; rebounds and initiates the fast break.”
Gabriel plays for Bradford Christian Academy in New Hampshire.
Wenyen Gabriel, who played two seasons for Kentucky, signed a two-way contract with the Sacramento Kings after going undrafted last summer. He is splitting time between Sacramento and its G League affiliate, the Stockton (Calif.) Kings.
