Kentucky’s women’s basketball game vs. Morgan State postponed
The University of Kentucky women’s basketball game scheduled for Friday night against Morgan State in Memorial Coliseum has been postponed because of COVID issues in the Morgan State program.
The game could be rescheduled for a later date but nothing is in place at this time.
Kentucky (6-3) will return to action Sunday against South Carolina Upstate (6-2) at 2 p.m. in Memorial Coliseum.
The Wildcats then take a holiday break before opening Southeastern Conference play on Dec. 30 at Auburn.
Fans can receive free admission to Sunday’s game by donating new, unwrapped toys in original packaging or $25 VISA or Mastercard gift cards at the Lexington Avenue entrance.
Collected items will be donated to families in Western Kentucky in need following the tornadoes last week. The UK Police Department is working with UK Athletics on collection and distribution of the donated items.
