The game was scheduled to tip off at about 4 p.m. (ESPN), following the contest between Indiana and Charlotte in Bloomington.

Kentucky (19-11) is led in scoring by senior Rhyne Howard (20.6 points per game) and junior Dre’una Edwards (16.9). Howard was named Most Valuable Player of the Southeastern Conference Tournament, which Kentucky won on a three-point basket by Edwards with four seconds left in the championship game against top-ranked South Carolina.

Senior guard Abby Meyers leads Princeton (24-4) in scoring at 17.8 points per game. Junior guard Julia Cunningham averages 13.6. The Tigers won the Ivy League regular-season championship and postseason tournament.

Princeton and Kentucky are meeting for only the second time in women’s basketball. The Wildcats won their previous meeting, 82-77, in the 2019 NCAA Tournament round of 64 at Raleigh, N.C.
