Box score from Kentucky women’s basketball’s nerve-racking NCAA tourney win over Liberty

The University of Kentucky women’s basketball team played Liberty University in Memorial Coliseum in Lexington on Friday afternoon. The Spokane Regional 4 No. 4-seed Wildcats defeated the No. 13-seed Flames 79-78 in the opening game of the 2025 NCAA Tournament for both teams.

Next up for Kentucky is an NCAA Tournament round-of-32 matchup with Kansas State or Fairfield on Sunday in Memorial Coliseum.
