Box score from UK women’s basketball’s agonizing NCAA tourney loss to Kansas State in OT
The University of Kentucky women’s basketball team played Kansas State University in Memorial Coliseum in Lexington on Sunday afternoon. The Spokane Regional 4 No. 4-seed Kentucky Wildcats were defeated by the No. 5-seed Kansas State Wildcats 80-79 in the 2025 NCAA Tournament round-of-32 matchup.
Next up for Kansas State is an NCAA Tournament round-of-16 matchup with Southern California or Mississippi State in Spokane, Washington.
The loss ended Kentucky’s first season under head coach Kenny Brooks with a 23-8 record.
