Kentucky football’s run of misery against Florida has drawn the attention of the video satirists at Al.com and their YouTube channel SEC Shorts.

In a video titled “Kentucky hires archeologist to find evidence of last win against Florida,” Dr. Reginald Carter III faces “his most difficult exposition yet, the search for evidence that Kentucky has ever beaten Florida in football.”

Carter discovers a Kentucky jacket he estimates to be from the 1990s, proof that UK football fans might have existed during that time.

And he studies the oral histories of current fans, although their ramblings seem difficult to interpret.

The roughly two-minute clip is part of SEC Shorts, produced occasionally by Al.com’s Robert Clay and Josh Snead. One of their most-watched clips this season has been “Nick Saban’s Coke bottle shares his incredible story.”
