The University of Kentucky football team will play its annual Blue-White Spring Game on a Friday night for the second year in a row.

The school announced Thursday that this year’s game at Kroger Field is set for April 13 at 6:30 p.m. and will be broadcast live on the SEC Network.

Tickets to the Blue-White Spring Game will be free, as usual. 2017 season ticket holders and those fans who have placed a season ticket deposit for the 2018 season will have the first opportunity to secure tickets for the spring game beginning Feb. 19, with the general public to follow a week later on Feb. 26. Season ticket holders will receive an email in mid-February detailing how they may obtain tickets during the pre-sale.

More information about how to obtain tickets, including ticket options for UK students, will be announced at a later time. Game-day information for fans attending the game will also be announced later.

Last year, the Blue team topped the White, 31-14, in front of 37,172 fans.

The Blue-White Spring Game is the final act of spring practice for the Wildcats, who finished 7-6 last season and reached a bowl for the second year in a row. UK will return record-setting running back Benny Snell Jr. from last season’s Music City Bowl, as well as 10 of 11 defensive starters.
