SEC announces time, TV for final games of regular season, but UK-Louisville still a question mark
Game times for Kentucky’s final two regular-season games were supposed to be made official by the Southeastern Conference office on Monday afternoon, but the UK finale at Louisville is still up in the air.
The Cats’ game on Nov. 17 versus Middle Tennessee will be played at noon at Kroger Field. The home finale will be senior day for at least 17 departing players. UK has not said if any other players are forgoing their final seasons. Television is still up in the air for that game with possibilities for the noon start playing on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, the SEC Network or the SEC Network alternate channel.
The seniors being recognized will include star players such as captains Josh Allen, George Asafo-Adjei, C.J. Conrad and Mike Edwards as well as star defenders including Derrick Baity, Chris Westry, Lonnie Johnson, Jordan Jones and Darius West.
Other seniors include wideouts Dorian Baker and David Bouvier as well as defensive linemen Adrian Middleton and Tymere Dubose and offensive lineman Bunchy Stallings.
No word on seniors including Sihiem King and Kengera Daniel, who both are taking redshirt seasons under the new NCAA rules allowing any player who plays in four or fewer games an extra season of eligibility.
The game time for Kentucky’s final contest of the season at Louisville has yet to be announced because it will be determined by the Atlantic Coast Conference as will the Florida-Florida State and South Carolina-Clemson games.
