Live updates from Kentucky football’s 2019 early signing day

Kentucky headed into Wednesday with commitments from 18 players for the class of 2020 and expected to sign many of those on the first day of college football’s early signing period, which runs from Dec. 18-20. Players also have the option of signing during the regular period from Feb. 5 through April 1.

The University of Kentucky was to host a signing day live stream on UKAthletics.com that may also be viewed online at SEC Network Plus. That programming was scheduled to get underway around 7:30 a.m. (Scroll to the bottom to watch the video.)

UK finished the 2019 regular season with a 7-5 record and is making preparations to play in the Belk Bowl against Virginia Tech on Dec. 31 in Charlotte, N.C., while also assembling its 2020 recruiting class.

Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops and recruiting coordinator Vince Marrow were scheduled to address the media in an afternoon news conference to discuss Wednesday’s signing class.
