The University of Kentucky’s spring football season is approaching, and several new faces will be in camp for it.

Twelve players — 11 on scholarship and one walk-on — enrolled at UK in January. In alphabetical order, there are: Beau Allen (quarterback), Sam Anaele (linebacker), Kalil Branham (receiver), Deondre Buford (offensive lineman), Joey Gatewood (quarterback), D’Eryk Jackson (linebacker), Tyler Malin (linebacker), JuTahn McClain (running back), Octavious Oxendine (defensive lineman), Andru Phillips (defensive back), Joel Williams (defensive back) and John Young (offensive lineman).

Every player this week spoke to the media for the first time since enrolling except McClain and Phillips, who were unavailable due to illness. Below you’ll find interviews with Allen, Anaele, Branham, Buford, Gatewood, Jackson, Malin, Oxendine, Williams and Young.
