UK’s spring football game will be played on a Saturday, not available on cable TV
The University of Kentucky’s spring football game has a date and time.
UK’s annual Blue-White intrasquad scrimmage will be played April 11 at Kroger Field. It will kick off at noon and be broadcast on SEC Network Plus, the SEC Network’s web-only streaming service.
Each of Kentucky’s last two spring football games were played on Friday nights and broadcast on the SEC Network. If you have a cable subscription that includes the SEC Network, you can access SEC Network Plus via an ESPN streaming app on a smart device (phone, TV, etc.) or PC browser.
Kentucky is coming off an 8-5 campaign and its second straight bowl win after defeating Virginia Tech in the 2019 Belk Bowl.
Senior quarterback Terry Wilson, injured early last season, will not be available to play in the spring, leaving room for mid-year enrollees Joey Gatewood, an Auburn transfer, and Beau Allen, a Lexington Catholic graduate, to get additional reps behind graduate student Sawyer Smith and redshirt freshmen Amani Gilmore and Nik Scalzo (the latter of whom is also recovering from a leg injury).
Entry into the spring game on April 11 is free to the public. Season tickets for the 2020 regular season are available via the UK Athletics website.
