Terry Wilson, Davonte Robinson will be limited in spring camp. Six Cats are out.

University of Kentucky quarterback Terry Wilson is still limited and won’t go through spring practice, Mark Stoops reaffirmed Monday.

Wilson, who suffered a torn patellar tendon in his left leg during Kentucky’s game against Eastern Michigan last season, was not expected to be a participant during UK’s spring practice, which gets underway Tuesday. Stoops expects Wilson to be available once fall camp begins in August.

“He’s doing some throwing and getting his leg stronger and all those things,” Stoops said.

Several other players will be unavailable this spring due to recoveries from injury: quarterback Nik Scalzo, defensive lineman Abule Abadi-Fitzgerald, wide receiver Isaiah Epps, offensive tackle Naasir Watkins, defensive back Taj Dodson and linebacker D’Eryk Jackson.

Defensive back Davonte Robinson, who suffered a quad injury before UK’s last fall camp got underway, is still limited, too.

“He won’t be participating but, again, he’ll be going through some drills, going through some of the winter conditioning that we’ve done right now,” Stoops said. “He’s getting better and a lot of these guys are getting closer, but as you can see there, it’s a pretty extensive list. It’s a long and grueling season and some of these guys had to get some surgeries in the offseason.”
