Nashville standout chooses Kentucky football program over Georgia, Tennessee

A second defensive back has committed to the University of Kentucky’s 2021 recruiting class.

Adrian Huey, a three-star prospect out of Hillsboro High School in Nashville, announced his commitment to the Wildcats on Tuesday via Twitter. He is considered a top-25 player in Tennessee, according to 247Sports, which also tabs him as the No. 69 overall cornerback in the country.

North Hardin standout Jordan Lovett, a safety, is the only other defensive back to have committed to UK as part of the 2021 class. Huey became the 14th commit of the Cats’ next class.

Kentucky extended a scholarship offer to Huey last month, as well as teammate Jacob Hood, an offensive lineman. Huey also reported offers from Arkansas, Georgia, Mississippi State, South Carolina and Tennessee.
