Here is how much you will have to pay for season tickets for Will Stein’s debut
The price for Kentucky football fans to purchase season tickets in the first year of the Will Stein era will be largely unchanged from Mark Stoops’ final season as coach.
After seeing a dip in season ticket sales last year — the school sold around 2,000 fewer season tickets in 2025 than 2024 — UK decided to keep the base price for season tickets the same after a coaching change. However, the required K Fund donation to purchase some premium seats will increase, and the previous discount provided to current season ticket holders for early renewal has been eliminated.
A change in federal regulations requiring UK to now list any fees and service charges as part of the base price will also mean the listed price for tickets will be slightly higher than last season, even though the final cost remains the same.
A new category of tickets will also be created for 2026 with the switch from bleachers to chairs for rows two through seven of the north side upper level. Those season tickets will cost $412 in sessions 202 to 204 and 208 to 210, $453 in sections 205 to 207 and $474 in sections 105 and 106. The required K Fund donation for those seats ranges from $50 for sections 202 and 210 to $475 for 105 and 106.
The cheapest season tickets are for upper level bench-back seating. Those tickets cost $309 or $386, depending on the section, with no required K Fund donation.
The most expensive season tickets are for the premium clubs, costing $721 with required K Fund donations of $1,625 for the Central Bank Club, $1,950 for the Longship Club and $3,250 for the Lexus Loge Level.
While the cost of ticket packages is mostly unchanged from 2025, the elimination of the early renewal discount of $20-25 per seat will mean fans who normally renew their tickets in February will have to pay more. A UK spokesman pointed to the need for the athletic department to increase revenue as the reason for that change.
Fans who do renew season tickets by Feb. 20 will be provided with a complimentary UK football yearbook, exclusive window decal, four free tickets to a home baseball or softball game, 10 bonus priority K Fund points and discounted registration for the annual UK5K race. Early renewals will also be entered to win weekly drawings in March and April. Prizes from those drawings may include access to premium seating, spring practice invites, Kentucky football memorabilia, complimentary tickets to away games and other special events.
In January, UK athletic director Mitch Barnhart told the Champions Blue board that the school had received more than 1,000 new season ticket deposits since Stein was hired as coach. Those deposits often translate to multiple season ticket purchases.
UK’s 2026 schedule includes home SEC games against Alabama, LSU, Vanderbilt and Florida and nonconference home games vs. Youngstown State, South Alabama and Louisville.
Season ticket renewals start Wednesday. The final deadline to renew tickets is April 10. New season ticket sales will begin in March, but UK is accepting deposits for priority access to new seats.
