Top UK football target Jedrick Wills cuts his recruiting list
Lafayette offensive lineman Jedrick Wills made a small cut to his recruiting list Wednesday, dropping Big Ten powers Ohio State and Michigan State from consideration.
Wills — a 6-foot-4, 315-pound offensive tackle in the class of 2017 — is now down to eight schools: Kentucky, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana State, Michigan, Notre Dame and Tennessee.
Rivals.com ranks Wills as the No. 17 recruit nationally and the No. 3 offensive lineman in the class of 2017, and he remains UK’s biggest target for next year.
Wills, who is a fixture at Kentucky home games and recruiting events, visited both Notre Dame and Tennessee earlier this month and is expected to take more recruiting trips later in the summer.
