Kentucky football team gets sneak peek at new $45 million training facility
The University of Kentucky football team got its first look at a brand new $45 million training facility Wednesday morning.
The 100,000-square-foot facility features turf and natural grass fields for practice. Other highlights include multiple meeting rooms for the team, a Gatorade bar, a barber shop and a dining hall with a personal chef.
Players will move in the first week of August. The team’s first game is 7:30 p.m. Sept. 3 against Southern Miss at Commonwealth Stadium.
“It’s better than a movie theater,” said one player upon seeing the team meeting room in a video posted on twitter.
