The current centerpiece of Kentucky’s 2023 recruiting class is aiming to bring more top-level players with him to Lexington.

Small forward Justin Edwards — the No. 3 player in the class of 2023 per the 247Sports composite — committed to Kentucky in late July, a decision he said “relieved a lot of stress” in his life.

Ever since, Edwards has made it his mission to try and add two more highly coveted pieces to UK’s 2023 recruiting class, which already features five-star guards Robert Dillingham and Reed Sheppard.

In an interview with Alex Karamanos of The Circuit, Edwards said that Aaron Bradshaw and DJ Wagner are two other class of 2023 players he is trying to convince to come to Lexington.

Edwards described the duo — ranked No. 1 and No. 14 in the class of 2023 per the 247Sports composite — as “like a package deal.”
