Basketball season is just around the corner.

Big Blue Madness — the preseason event that serves as the kickoff for both the Kentucky men’s and women’s basketball seasons — returns to Rupp Arena this Friday night.

Tickets for the event are sold out.

In addition to offering fans an advance look at this season’s UK men’s and women’s basketball teams, Big Blue Madness also serves as a major recruiting event for both programs.

Big names like Aaron Bradshaw, Karter Knox and DJ Wagner are expected to attend Friday night’s Big Blue Madness, along with a host of commits in Kentucky’s 2023 class.

The Herald-Leader will have plenty of recruiting coverage leading up to the event, including an in-depth look at where Kentucky stands in several 2023 and 2024 recruitments.

Up first? A look at where UK stands in the recruitments of Bradshaw and Wagner.

Keep track of everything you need to know ahead of Big Blue Madness.
