Kentucky men’s basketball may be struggling this season, but several future and potential Wildcats are achieving big things at the high school level.

In-state 2024 UK recruit Travis Perry and 2023 Kentucky signee DJ Wagner both recently reached impressive scoring marks with their respective high school teams.

Another incoming UK player, Reed Sheppard, was honored Friday night as a McDonald’s All-American, the first Kentucky-based player to earn the distinction since 2011.
