Travis Perry and Reed Sheppard begin postseason, and other top UK basketball recruiting links
The Kentucky high school boys’ basketball postseason is well underway, and region tournaments are on the horizon to determine the field for the 2022-23 UK Healthcare Boys’ Sweet 16 in March at Rupp Arena.
For Kentucky basketball fans, this means the high school career of 2023 UK signee Reed Sheppard (North Laurel) is nearing its conclusion, while the junior season for the highly recruited Travis Perry (Lyon County) is also approaching an end.
Another top name in Kentucky prep basketball — class of 2025 combo guard Jasper Johnson — is also still in the postseason with Woodford County.
Will all of these players make it to Rupp Arena for the biggest stage in Kentucky boys’ high school basketball?
The Boys’ Sweet 16 will be held March 15-18 at Rupp Arena in Lexington.
