While the Kentucky men’s basketball program is still without a commitment beyond this year’s top-ranked recruiting class, there’s a list of priority recruits that John Calipari and the Wildcats are targeting in both the 2024 and 2025 classes.

One of those players just happens to be a Kentucky legacy.

Class of 2024 small forward Karter Knox is a younger brother of former Wildcat Kevin Knox, and Karter has made a name for himself as a versatile 6-5 small forward out of Florida.

The consensus five-star recruit is currently ranked as a top-10 player in the 2024 class, per the 247Spots Composite, and has put together a fantastic grassroots season so far with the Florida Rebels program on the Nike EYBL circuit.

That strong form continued last weekend, when Knox helped lead the Florida Rebels to a 3-1 record during the third Nike EYBL session of the spring in North Texas.

The Herald-Leader was on hand for the event, and watched Knox put together an all-around performance during a Friday night win over fellow class of 2024 UK recruit Billy Richmond and the NJ Scholars.

Below are highlights from Knox’s outing at the Southwest Athletic Center in Carrollton, Texas.
