The 2023 edition of the Overtime Elite Fall Combine brought some of the biggest names in college basketball to the OTE Arena on Tuesday afternoon in Atlanta’s Atlantic Station neighborhood.
The likes of Bruce Pearl (Auburn), Mike Woodson (Indiana), Kenny Payne (Louisville), Hubert Davis (North Carolina), Tony Bennett (Virginia) and dozens of other college coaches and NBA scouts were in attendance to watch prospective recruits in a variety of on-court basketball drills and settings.
UK was also represented at the event, with associate coach Orlando Antigua on site to watch two players in particular.
Kentucky’s lone commit in the 2024 recruiting class is Somto Cyril, a center who is gearing up for his second season at Overtime Elite.
One of UK’s top recruiting targets in the 2024 class is Karter Knox, whose older brother Kevin was a one-and-done star in Lexington under Kentucky head coach John Calipari.
Knox made the move to Overtime Elite this summer ahead of his final prep basketball season.
Both Cyril and Knox were among the Overtime Elite players who took part in Tuesday’s Fall Combine, which featured everything from individual skill sessions to five-on-five full court play.
Here are highlights from Cyril’s and Knox’s outings in front of college coaches and pro scouts.
