One of UK football's biggest recruiting targets from the class of 2014 is back in the fold.

Highly touted defensive end Denzel Ware said Sunday that he has recommitted to Kentucky. Ware, who is visiting UK this weekend, originally committed to the Cats in February before backing out of that pledge a few weeks later.

"Just stepped on campus and loving the place," Ware tweeted Sunday. "Glad to be back with (Big Blue Nation)."

The 6-foot-1, 241-pounder will play his senior season for Crestview High School in Crestview, Fla. He transferred from Crestview to Opp (Ala.) earlier this year, but has since returned to the Florida school.

Ware is considered by Rivals.com to be the No. 15 weak-side defensive end in the class of 2014. He's a four-star prospect according to Scout.com, which has him ranked as the No. 23 overall defensive end in his class.

ESPN also considers Ware a four-star recruit and has him ranked as the No. 80 overall prospect in the country, the ninth-best defensive end and the 12th-best player in the state of Florida.

Ware also had offers from Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, Florida, Texas, USC and several other high-major programs. He is UK's 12th commitment from the class of 2014.

UK could add some more players to its recruiting class in the coming days. The program held its Saturday Night Prime Time Camp this weekend at Commonwealth Stadium.

The camp brought in more than 340 players from several different states, a turnout that far exceeded UK's expectations. About 100 campers attended last year, and the school was expecting about 200 this time around.

Several of UK's top 2014 and 2015 recruits were in attendance, including four-star commitments Mikel Horton and Thaddeus Snodgrass.

UK commitment Drew Barker and top in-state target Matt Elam are expected to be on UK's campus Monday.
