No. 1 point guard De’Aaron Fox signs with Kentucky
De’Aaron Fox -- the nation’s No. 1 point guard -- made his commitment to the University of Kentucky official Wednesday by signing a national letter of intent with the Wildcats.
The 6-foot-4 prospect from Katy, Texas wore a blue “Kentucky” shirt and black UK hat to the signing ceremony at his high school.
Fox is the highest-ranked member of UK’s five-player recruiting class of 2016, joining five-star forwards Edrice “Bam” Adebayo, Wenyen Gabriel and Sacha Killeya-Jones, and five-star combo guard Malik Monk, who committed to the Wildcats on Wednesday morning.
The early signing period ended Wednesday.
