The Kentucky basketball recruiting board has two big names remaining at the top for the 2022 class: five-star combo guard Cason Wallace and five-star center Adem Bona.

Wallace will choose either UK, Tennessee or Texas on Nov. 7. What about Bona?

There hasn’t been a clear timetable for the Nigerian post player, who took an official visit to Kentucky last weekend and is expected to be at UCLA on the weekend of Oct. 22. An expectation in recruiting circles has been that Bona would make a college commitment shortly after that visit, but he told Cats Illustrated’s David Sisk this week that his final decision wouldn’t come until “weeks after” that UCLA trip. That means fans could be waiting a little longer than expected to get a final word on his recruitment. The early signing period is set for Nov. 10-17.

Rivals.com subscribers can check out Sisk’s Q&A with Bona for more on his Kentucky visit.
