More Kentucky basketball recruiting links: The latest on top UK target Adem Bona
Kentucky’s basketball coaches are clearly showing five-star center Adem Bona that he’s a major priority for their 2022 recruiting class.
On Monday, just one day after Bona wrapped up his official visit to UCLA, John Calipari and members of the Wildcats’ coaching staff are expected to be in California for another meeting with the 6-foot-11 center. Bona took his official visit to Lexington three weeks ago, and Calipari has already been to see him twice on the West Coast since the fall recruiting period began last month.
Bona is expected to pick either Kentucky or UCLA sometime in the next couple of weeks, and the Bruins took the lead on his 247Sports Crystal Ball page with some new predictions over the past several days. Bona is the No. 10 overall player in the 2022 class, according to the 247Sports rankings, and he’s the only frontcourt prospect from that group with a Kentucky scholarship offer.
