Spring and summer are busy times for top high school basketball recruits, but some manage to sneak in campus visits in June, a month reserved as a break from grassroots games on the travel calendar.

Kentucky will host its first official visit of the summer recruiting break starting Friday, when five-star center Aaron Bradshaw comes to town. UK extended a scholarship offer to Bradshaw — a 7-footer from Camden High School (N.J.) — in April, and he’s been named the defensive MVP in two of the first three sessions of Nike EYBL play so far this season. Bradshaw plays for New Jersey Scholars, which is headed by former Louisville star Pervis Ellison and also features major UK recruiting target DJ Wagner.

Bradshaw recently narrowed his list to seven choices: Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan, Oklahoma State, UCLA and the G League. He is the No. 20 overall player in the 2023 class, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

On Monday, the Wildcats are expected to host five-star forward Ron Holland for his first recruiting visit to UK.
