Kentucky’s high school track and field state championships played out June 2-4 at the University of Kentucky in Lexington.

Three meets were conducted over three days featuring schools from Class A, Class 2A and Class 3A, and the Lexington Herald-Leader was on hand to chronicle the action through words and pictures.

Fort Knox, Mercer County and St. Xavier won boys’ state championships in Class A, 2A and 3A, respectively.

Bishop Brossart, Mercer County and Manual won the girls’ titles.
