Here’s the 2024 Lexington All-City Girls Soccer Team

The Lexington Herald-Leader and Kentucky.com are proud to present the 2024 All-City High School Girls Soccer Teams as voted on by the nine coaches of Lexington’s varsity KHSAA programs.

Sayre’s Katherine Monohan was chosen as Lexington’s girls soccer player of the year.

Monohan, a senior forward, led the 11th Region in goals scored with 59 this season and broke the region record for career goals with 205 scored over four varsity seasons. That mark ranks third all-time in the KHSAA record book.

Monohan received three player of the year votes from the city’s nine varsity coaches. Fellow All-City First Team honorees Maddi Merryweather of Frederick Douglass and Ava Wilson of Henry Clay got two each. Lexington Catholic’s Izzy Skinner and Sara Kate Barnes and Frederick Douglass’ Jordan “Jojo” Williams each got one and also earned first-team honors.
