Bryan Station’s Majors, Guerrant among players to earn top all-region soccer honors

The Kentucky High School Soccer Coaches Association has selected its boys all-state teams and player and coach of the year honors for the 2025 season.

In the 11th Region, where 13 of 19 teams are affiliated with the KHSSCA, the top award winners were Henry Clay’s Connor Taylor as offensive player of the year and Bryan Station’s Joaquin Guerrant and Luke Majors as defensive player and goalkeeper of the year, respectively.

Taylor scored 12 goals to go with seven assists for the Blue Devils in helping them to the 42nd District title and a No. 1 ranking for most of the season.

Guerrant and Majors were part of a defensive back line that held Bryan Station opponents to just 22 goals and has notched three straight postseason shutouts, including a penalty kick shootout win over Henry Clay for the program’s first 11th Region championship.

Lafayette’s Chris Grimm, who led the Generals to a 43rd District title and a 16-2-0 record, was named region coach of the year.
