See who made the 2025 Lexington All-City High School Football Team
The Lexington Herald-Leader/Kentucky.com is proud to present the 2025 All-City High School Football Team as voted by the nine coaches of Lexington’s varsity KHSAA programs.
Coaches nominated up to 10 players per team for consideration. All coaches then ranked their top five players at each position on the ballot. The Herald-Leader compiled those rankings to create the first and second teams. Players who received votes at multiple positions are recognized for their most prominent one. All other players nominated earned Honorable Mention.

Note: The Herald-Leader’s all-city teams have two quarterbacks, two running backs, three wide receivers, four offensive linemen and an athlete who could be any position player on offense. On defense, there are four defensive backs, three linebackers, four defensive linemen and a kicker.
The Herald-Leader has recognized two quarterbacks on both its first and second team offenses for a decade because high school quarterbacks tend to be dual-threat athletes who run as much or more than they throw and because tight ends are rarely nominated for all-city. Tight ends who are nominated are grouped with the receivers.
