Coaches name 2026 All-11th Region boys high school basketball team
Madison Central swept player and coach of the year honors as the 11th Region’s boys high school basketball head coaches announced their 2025-26 All-11th Region Team on Wednesday.
Jake Feldhaus, a 6-foot-8 senior Belmont commit, earned his second 11th Region player of the year nod in the past week. Also the Kentucky Association of Basketball Coaches’ region player of the year and a Mr. Basketball finalist, Feldhaus has averaged 20.5 points and 13.1 rebounds so far this season for a team that was ranked No. 1 in the final Kentucky Media Elite 16 boys basketball poll of the regular season.
Allen Feldhaus Jr., who has led the Indians to a 28-3 record, took region coach of the year honors. He also won the KABC’s award Monday.
Wednesday’s honors were voted on by 18 of the 11th’s 19 head coaches. The KABC honors are voted on by all members inside the region.
Joining Feldhaus on the all-region team from Lexington were Bryan Station’s Amari Owens and Taeshawn Adams, Frederick Douglass’ DeMarcus Surratt and Tate Robinson, Henry Clay’s Jackson Stephan, Lexington Catholic’s Max Meagher, Tates Creek’s Stephen Franklin and Lafayette’s Tyler Hunt.
The coaches selected Andy Dunn as official of the year.
